{"id":107,"date":"2013-02-13T23:54:37","date_gmt":"2013-02-14T05:54:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shockbots.com\/blog\/?p=107"},"modified":"2013-02-24T20:20:58","modified_gmt":"2013-02-25T02:20:58","slug":"2013-02-13-music-mobs-and-doors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shockbots.com\/blog\/?p=107","title":{"rendered":"2013-02-13 Music Mobs and Doors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I created the 2 music tracks for the game &#8211; an action theme that plays when there are enemies and a calm theme when the room is clear.<\/p>\n<p>I also created the last batch of sound effects for the game:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>mob bite \/ melee<\/li>\n<li>player hurt<\/li>\n<li>weapon over heat<\/li>\n<li>explosive impact<\/li>\n<li>mob bullet<\/li>\n<li>power up<\/li>\n<li>loot drop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I added a weapon overheated and power up text displays and randomized the spawn positions used by mobs.\u00a0 There was a bug where mobs were spawning at incorrect locations instead of at their spawn points, and I think it was because the mob array wasn&#8217;t being cleared properly.\u00a0 I think I fixed it and I haven&#8217;t seen the issue but I&#8217;m not sure.\u00a0 Its a game breaking bug so I&#8217;ve been playing the game a lot to test it.\u00a0 I sped up the boomer and added sleep and wake animations for the Boomer and Chomper.\u00a0 I finally textured the doors and the boss room arrow.\u00a0 Getting close to done.\u00a0\u00a0 Still need to texture and animate the player, texture the shooter and shooter boss.\u00a0 Also I want to add 2 more bosses, if possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I created the 2 music tracks for the game &#8211; an action theme that plays when there are enemies and a calm theme when the room is clear.
